Close your eyes and hear the roar
As the waves come crashing upon the shore.
Hear their voice as they invite,
Come and taste for your delight.
The turquoise blue swells to a mound,
Its white mane whispers a quiet sound.
It gathers strength from beneath its fold
And spreads its wings with might untold.
The white froth bubbles, the surge is spent,
As Neptune’s army is in descent.
But once again they hear his command
To throw the pebbles upon the sand.
For Neptune’s lair is abound with treasure
No earthly riches cannot measure.
And he must guard his treasure well,
And so continues the mighty swell.
